Help Us Make the Evergreen Branch Even Better

The Evergreen Branch of the Everett Public Library is going to grow—from 8,500 square feet to just over 13,000 square feet. We’re just beginning the design phase of this project now, so it’s an excellent time to tell the library what you think! You can do that in a variety of ways.

  1. Take the survey. Give your feedback here.
  2.  Not into computers? Pick up a paper copy at either library.
  3. Attend one of the public meetings—hint: they’re not scheduled yet, but keep an eye out for announcements in the future.
  4. Ask your neighborhood, club, or organization to invite a librarian to your monthly meeting. Just call 425-257-8022 to set this up.
  5. Vote on a few options when you visit the branch.

The library already knows you love the staff (because you’ve told them so), but this is an opportunity to tell them how the building could serve you better. More space for children and families? Maybe a quiet study room, or more computers? Or something else?

An opportunity like this only comes along once every 27 years—that’s when the Evergreen Branch was built—so speak now or you might have to wait another 27 years to have your say!

Thanks for considering,

Eileen Simmons
