All Things Spring Guide

Editor’s note: the following article was originally published March 2018, but has been updated March 2019 to reflect the 2019 spring season.

Sun's out, guns out, fun's out.

Warmer weather and Daylight Savings bring the itch to go and do.

Here are some things to look forward to in the coming months.

Oliver Elf Army at Fisherman’s Village Music Festival 2018 // Christine Mitchell

5/16-5/18 - Fisherman's Village Music Festival

This music-filled weekend gets a new location for 2019. Now on the block of Cedar Street and 33rd (home to the Scuttlebutt Taproom). See dozens of local, regional, and national bands including big names like Wolf Parade and The Coathangers and also a night market filled with local vendors.

Get wristbands here.

SUN 4/7 - Everett Half Marathon

8 AM - 12 PM

The event formerly known as the Heroes Half starts on the Everett waterfront and takes runners  through 13.1 miles of running, following a course over a bridge, across the 'Flats to Marysville(!), and back to lovely EVT.

Interested? It's not too late to sign up.

5/25-5/27 - Cruzin to Colby

Downtown Everett transforms into a car-lovers paradise Memorial Day Weekend. See hundreds of motor vehicles spanning decades, take in live music and enjoy some street food.

9:45 AM - 2 PM

Fun on two wheels! This 22.5 mile bike ride takes you to each of the city's fire stations. It's for all ages and bicycling abilities.

A free open house to take in what the arboretum has been planning all winter. Entertainment, appetizers and gardening games for guests!

Sun 5/12 - Everett Farmers Market

11 AM - 4 PM

The market opens at Boxcar Park on Mother's Day! The market runs every Sunday through October 6. Meet the farmers behind your tomatoes, as well as vendors, concessionaires and musicians. Dog-friendly. Also, this year the market has a new secondary location at the Everett Station starting in June on Wednesdays from 4-8 p.m.

Parks and Rec Classes/Sports

Spring means getting active. For yourself and your kids. Put together a softball team, take a swim class, or go on a day hike. Check out the programs that the city offers on their website here.
