Prepared to be scared; you’re about to feel some FOMO setting in. There may just be too many upcoming local Halloween events to choose from. Here are just a few to enjoy:

Irwin Family Halloween Lights

Nightly at 6:30 p.m. through October 31 | Cost: Free

Many are familiar with the Irwin Family Lights from their Christmas light show. But did you know they also have Halloween lights? Pull up curbside to this neighborhood spectacular and tune your radio to 87.9FM. Then, sit back and enjoy the show.

Trick Or Treat Yo’Self, At Large Brewing

Friday, 10/28, 5 to 10 p.m.

Throw on that award-worthy costume, and you just might win something cool. And even if you don’t win, you can still enjoy Sour Patch beer on tap, food from Smokin’ Dough food truck, and of course, all of the usual games At Large Brewing has to offer.

Every Story Is Better As A Horror Story: A Halloween Comedy Show at Everett Improv

Friday, 10/28, 8:30 p.m. | Cost: $20

Everett Sitting Ghost Tour: An Improv Comedy Show at Everett Improv

Saturday, 10/29, 5 p.m., 8 p.m., 10:30 p.m. | Cost: $5 - $20

Either show you catch is sure to be hilarious as Everett Improv gets scary funny in these Halloween-themed comedy shows. Saturday's 5 p.m. show is family-friendly and open to all ages. And the 10:30 p.m. show on Saturday is only $5, saving you money for the bar.

Running Dead 5k, Rotary Park in Lowell

Saturday, 10/29, 10 a.m. | Cost: $40

Sure, you’ve run a 5k before. But have you ever done it as a zombie?! Run, walk, creep, or crawl as a part of The Running Dead. Admission also includes a drink ticket and a medal. And the less guilt you’ll feel after you devour all of your Halloween candy because you ran a 5k, that’s just a bonus.

Trick-Or-Treating, Downtown Everett

Saturday, 10/29, noon to 6 p.m. | Free. All ages.

Bring your monsters and princesses for trick-or-treating all around Downtown Everett and at Wetmore Plaza. Dozens of businesses and vendors will be participating in this family-friendly event. Don’t forget a bucket for all of your Halloween treats!

Dog-o-ween, Pints and Pups

Saturday, 10/29, noon to 10 p.m. | Ages: 21+ (for humans)

Yes, your costume is great. But how about your dogs? Spruce up sparky for this fun event and save $1 off beers. You can also get pet photos from noon to 7 p.m. We’re not entirely sure if the costume contest is for you, your dog, or both, but you should probably cover all of your bases to be safe.

Free Family Trick-Or-Treat Event, Everett Mall

Saturday, 10/29, 3 to 5 p.m. | Free & All Ages.

Trick-or-treat while enjoying the Evergreen Community Orchestra. Hoopla face painting and balloon creations will be available near the center court. And don’t forget your non-perishable food items for Volunteers of America, who will be on-site to collect donations.

Halloween Punk Rock Extravaganza, Tony V’s Garage

Saturday, 10/29, Doors at 7 p.m. | Cost: $15 in your boring clothes, $10 in your awesome costume

Six bands. $200 costume contest. And you even save $5 off the cover if you’re in costume! What’s not to like? And with that much prize money up for grabs, you're sure to see some great costumes.

These are just a handful of upcoming Halloween Events. So what events are you excited about this Halloween?
