Upper Left Beerfest to Hit Downtown Next Weekend

Heads up. Next weekend is the big brew-ha-ha (emphasis on “brew” lol) you’ve been waiting all year to attend.

Oh yes, it is the Upper Left Beerfest: Everett’s street celebration of craft beer and cider. This year they’re kicking it up from a one day event to a weekend-long beer party.

The setup: 30 Washington state brew vendors pouring 60 local beers. 6 food trucks (fish and chips, hot dogs, BBQ, creole, pizza).

4 of the breweries are from beautiful EVT. There will also be regional beers on tap from Seattle, B’ham, Monroe and Snohomish.

Admission gets you a 5 ounce taster glass and five tokens. You can exchange the tokens for samples. Attendees are welcome to buy more of what’s on tap if their taste buds are tickled.

There will be a live music stage with several local bands and headliner Cataldo, who just played Bumbershoot.

Tickets are $25 in advance if you buy ‘em online; $30 on the day of at the gate. Makes sense to get yours early and save some dollar billz.

The event will be held on Hoyt Avenue, between Hewitt and Everett Ave. Entrance is in front of the Ever Park Garage.

Thanks to Jared Loranger of Fizz Events for putting on the festival this year.
