Rumor has it that in early July Hydrology Stand Up Paddle will begin offering paddle tours of the Everett Marina that'll be followed by cocktails at Bluewater Distilling. We say it's a rumor because they don't have complete details on their website yet, but you can get the gist of it here. We've reached out for more info and will update you all next week.

There are nearly 90 large-scale prints and working proofs by artist Chuck Close on display at the Schack Art Center right now. Admission is just $10. You MUST go see this. More info.

EAT + DRINK

We met some friends at Sol Food for happy hour last week and had the most epic and delicious gut-bomb, ever. It's a huge sandwich with mixed cheeses, chorizo, arugula, smokey tomato vinaigrette & Sol sauce served on a locally made telera roll. It's only $5.50, too.

Tropicos Express is a small, unassuming Salvadorian restaurant on Wetmore that is seriously good. The service is fast and the food is unique and delicious. We like the Tropibowl for lunch. It's all of the goodness of a burrito served in a bowl. It seems healthy, tastes super fresh and is big enough to split or get two meals out of. They also have a breakfast burrito that has sweet plantains and chorizo inside of it. It's SO GOOD (and also big enough to split). This place has another location in Seattle that's super popular and it's only a matter of time before Everett catches on.
