Everett Real Estate: 1624 Rucker Ave.

This 1910 Foursquare home just hit the market last night. It was such a great looking house, I went and previewed it right away, and it did not disappoint. Here's the top 5 things I like about it:

1. It's huge.
With over 3900 square feet, and an over-sized 2 car garage, this 4 bedroom 2.5 bath home has more than enough space. The lot is over 10,000 square feet, and has a great entertaining space out back.

2. The location.
The location is one of the best in all of Everett in my opinion. Not only is it located in the coveted Northwest neighborhood, but you're only 1 block from Grand Avenue park, as well as where the city is putting in the new foot bridge. This will make for an easy walk to the new waterfront development.

3. It's Classy.
Not only does this historic home ooze charm, it just feels stately. The ceilings are tall (even upstairs), there's a great study, lots of built-ins, fantastic updates throughout, and when you walk through you can just tell what a well built sturdy home it is.

Just to the right out of frame is a small sitting room with a half bath and closet. The perfect place to store coats and purses when hosting parties.

4. It's fun.
Not only does this house have 2 stair cases, which always reminds me of the TV show, "Full House." But the 4th bedroom upstairs is enormous, which would make for the perfect game room. It's so long you could probably even fit a ping pong table and pool table if you wanted.

5. The Master.
I love old houses, but most don't have master bedrooms that measure up to today's standards. This house is the exception. Not only is there a gorgeous master bathroom with double sinks, but there's also 2 separate closets, and a balcony with a surprisingly peaceful view that looks West towards the water.

At $610,000 this gorgeous home has a ton to offer. The market has been heating up fast this year, so let us know soon if have any questions or it you'd like to check out 1624 Rucker Ave in person. We'd be happy to arrange a private showing for you. Whether you're thinking of buying or selling, don't hesitate to contact us anytime.
