Everett Top 5 - Things to Know About Cocktails For Hope
Bluewater Distilling and Housing Hope are currently running a campaign called, "Cocktails For Hope." What the heck is that? I'll tell you! Here are 5 things you should know about this delicious fundraiser-
1) Each week for the month of September Bluewater Distilling is featuring a different specialty cocktail.
I tried the first weeks specialty cocktail and it was AM-A-ZING. A new specialty drink in honor of Cocktails for Hope will be on Bluewater's menu each Friday through the month of September. So hop to it!
2) For each drink Bluewater sells they will donate $1 to Housing Hope.
Say what?! That's what I like to call a win-win.
3) Drink and be generous.
The real heart behind this campaign is helping families in Snhomish County escape poverty. Drinking is fun, but so is not being homeless. Housing hope is continuing their 20+ year spree of goodness and working on all kinds of awesomeness around the greater Everett area. Learn more on Housing Hope's Cocktails for Hope page about the cool things they're up to.
4) Every dollar you donate will be magically transformed into over $6.
OK, it's not actually magic. Housing Hope utilizes various grants and resources to get funds matched and leveraged. So, yes. Every dollar you donate will actually be transformed into over $6 to go towards helping empower Snohomish County families to escape poverty! The rad thing about Housing Hope is they don't just give handouts. They give families a cohesive hand-up, and help with everything from housing to job training, like skills, and so much more.
5) Supporting Cocktails for Hope is the best kind of decision. A no-brainer.
In fact, Live In Everett's so stoked on this whole campaign that the first 5 people to make a donation and email us will get a $25 gift card for Silver Cup Coffee Cafe or an Everett license plate frame. Just email a screen shot of your donation confirmation to us at Contact@LiveInEverett.com. Even if you only donate $10. Doesn't matter. We'll hook you up!
Learn more about Cocktails for Hope and how you can help Cocktails for Hope reach their goal. Or at least go invite some friends out for cocktails for goodness sakes! It's a good cause... unless you're under 21. Or an alcoholic. Then you should probably find something else awesome to do in Everett.
