Earth Day Fun: PUD Block Party Extravaganza & EV Car Show

PUD Headquarters in North Everett will again host an Energy Block Party this Saturday from 11am - 2pm.

A family-friendly way to celebrate Earth Day, PUD will have fun for kids and adults, including the Truckstravaganza, electric vehicle car show, energy savings giveaways, and much, much more.

For those who enjoy saving money and giveaways, you can learn how to save money on your energy bill inside the PUD lobby. Learn about what PUD is planning for the future, how the utility is working to protect the environment, and grab some fun giveaways while you’re at it.

EV Car Show

One of our favorite parts of PUD’s Energy Block Party is seeing all the new electric vehicles (and some old ones, too!).. Local neighbors and EV car enthusiasts will be on-site, opening up their rides for you to take a peak and ask questions. This is a great opportunity to avoid a pushy salesperson and enjoy honest insight from local EV owners.

We attended the EV car show a while back and had a great time seeing what’s possible, from the most modern and rare new releases to vintage conversions.

Dazzling Electrical Safety Demonstrations

PUD’s high-voltage trailer will be on-site with demonstrations at:

  • 11:30 am

  • 12:15 pm

  • 1 pm

  • 1:45 pm

Special Presentations

Inside the PUD auditorium, there will be presentations on whole-house energy efficiency, as well as presentations on “The Home of the Future: From Solar Energy to Battery Storage.”

Learn something new and bring questions for PUD’s experts. And yes, all presentations will also have Door prizes! The PUD Auditorium is limited to 300 people, so be sure to check PUD’s website for start times.
