JETTY ISLAND DAYS
BEGINS JULY 5TH

The Jetty Island Ferry begins shuttling beach-goers on Tuesday, July 5th and runs through September 5th. The Jetty is Everett's best beach, hands down, with miles of sandy beach, shallow waters and even kite boarding if you're into it. More info.

BILLY ELLIOT
OPENS FRIDAY AT VILLAGE THEATRE

The ten time Tony Award-winning musical, Billy Elliot begins playing at Village Theatre on Friday, July 8th and runs through July 31st. DON'T MISS IT. The show received rave reviews during its time showing in Issaquah and it's only playing in Everett for a few weeks. We have tickets for opening night and will report back with our layman's review. Get tickets here before they sell out.

FREE KID CONCERTS
BEGINS THURSDAY AT T.A. SULLIVAN PARK

Everett's FREE outdoor children's concert series begins on Thursday at T.A. Sullivan Park in Silver Lake. These shows are always packed out with bunch of awesome kids going bonkers and having a great time. Arrive early for a parking spot. Check out the schedule here.

MUSIC AT THE MARINA
THURSDAY AND SATURDAY AT THE WATERFRONT

Get down on Everett's best outdoor dance floor this Thursday and Saturday. Thursday's act is a Latin/Salsa band Bochinche; Saturday's is an alt-country favorite of ours, Massy Ferguson. Check out the 2016 music schedules here. Want to sit and enjoy the music? Reserve a table at Lombardi's here. 

THE EVERETT FARMERS MARKETS
EVERY FRIDAY AND SUNDAY

Load up on handcrafted goods and farm-fresh produce at Everett's totally awesome Farmers Markets. Friday's Market is at the Everett Mall from 3-7 PM and Sunday's Market is at Boxcar Park from 11-4 PM. More info here.

Thanks for voting in the June EVVY Awards to crown Everett's best Fish 'N Chips. We're still tallying the votes and we'll announce the winner this week on the blog. Stay tuned. Also, stay tuned for the announcement of the July EVVY Awards.

Major League Pizza is selling medium pizzas for $4.44 on the 4th of July. Make sure you snag one for the parade – it's a yearly tradition!

Tyler took a couple days off and camp-toured the Olympic Peninsula. He says it was beautiful, but apparently the food over there SUCKS (for the most part). We're grateful to have such an array of superb (and affordable) places to eat out in Everett. Seriously, where else can you get a waterfront view and keep your tab under $10? Nowhere, that's where.

Everett Music Initiative's weekly concert series, Sets in the West returns on July 12th. It's on Tuesday this year and has a 'Taco Tuesday' theme. Even more notable are the extended hours.
