It has been a weird year – full of highs and lows. Peace out to President Obama and everyone who passed away. Let's be kind to each other in 2017 and send 2016 off with a bang.

Bring your dancing shoes and shuffle in the new year to a live jazz ensemble while sipping the most delicious cocktails around. $60, includes food and champagne. 21+ More info hither.

New Year's Pajama Party at Imagine Children's Museum (For the kiddos)
Bring the kids to ICM in their jammies for a couple hours of kid-approved fun including activities, snacks, and a ball-dropping at 9 PM. Get 'em to the sitter by 10, then go do yo' thang. $10-$15. Check it out.

90's Party at the Independent
90's alternative, pop, and hip hip dance party. They'll have a balloon drop at midnight and Sea Cider Prohibition cider toasts. Starts at 8 PM. No Cover. 21+. There's probably still time to grab some Zubas off Amazon. More info here.

A Very Rockabilly New Year's Eve at Tony V's
Grab your leather jacket and head to Tony V's for a raucous Rockabilly evening. A bunch of bands (A Lein Nation, Devilwood, Hard Money Saints), champagne and they clean up the mess. $15. 21+ More info here.
