New Pacific Ice Outdoor Community Ice Rink is Officially Open at Port of Everett’s Waterfront Place

Everett, Wash. — The Port of Everett, in partnership with rink operator Blue Line Sports & Entertainment, are excited to officially welcome community members to come ‘break the ice’ with us at the new Pacific Ice outdoor community ice rink presented by Tulalip Tribes opened, Dec. 3, at 3 p.m.

The seasonal rink, located at the Port’s Pacific Rim Plaza in front of Hotel Indigo’s Jetty Bar & Grille (1028 13th Street, Everett, WA 98201), is scheduled to be open daily thru January 31, 2022, operating Monday – Friday; 3 – 10 p.m., Saturday – Sunday; 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. Extended holiday hours offered from Dec. 17 – Jan. 2.

The rink had its official test run this morning – here’s a sneak peek. CLICK HERE TO VIEW PHOTO GALLERY.

Pacific Ice had originally targeted a Nov. 27 opening, but a short delay in the schedule was necessary this week to complete the ice-building process.

“We are so thrilled with all the excitement around the new rink in our first year, and we want to thank the community for their support and patience with the brief shift in opening date,” said Catherine Soper, Port of Everett communications director. “The ice simply needed additional time to cure, and while we had hoped for just a one-day delay, the major windstorm this past weekend created some challenges and extended the ice cure time. We are ready for you now!”

Whether pre-purchasing your tickets or walking up, online reservations are required. Tickets can be purchased at www.portofeverett.com/PacificIce.

At the rink you will enjoy festive lights and music, concessions, and holiday cheer.

While you’re here, check out and snap a photo with the Port’s new 35-foot lighted “frozen fountain” tree and swing into your favorite waterfront restaurant.
