Sketchy Everett Volume 5: Windstorm Aftermath
A few weeks ago, the big windstorm that hit our coast took a big toll on the trees of Everett. It was such a rainy November that the poor trees were easy prey to the remarkably strong gusts. One of the most noticeable losses to me was this gem at Grand Avenue Park at 18th. Within days city crews were chopping and removing the downed trees, a sad and necessary act.
Elizabeth is an Everett, Washington-based artist and graphic designer. Using pen and watercolor, she sketches from life and creates 'illustrative infographics,' often featuring Northwest themes.
