Sketchy Everett Volume 10: Grand Avenue Park
"Spring arrived last week - did you notice? I've been waiting for the trees to pop along Grand Avenue, so I could catch them in full blossom. Grand Avenue Park boasts one of the best places in town to catch the sunset, with it's prime location on a bluff overlooking Puget Sound, Hat Island, Whidbey Island and the Olympic range still further west. But right now, I think the park itself is the best view, with it's pink trees and salty breeze.
Grand Avenue Park stretches from 16th to 19th street, and is my favorite of the 40 parks in Everett (but I'm biased since it's the closest to my house). Eventually, the Grand Avenue Park Bridge will allow easy access to the waterfront from the north end of this park by 2017."
