Spot Check: Bayside Bikes
Summer Is Coming (I promise) and when the slightest bit of sun breaks though those dreary clouds this time of year, it reminds me to wipe off the dust, kick the tires, and get ready for summer biking. Everett offers a wide variety of biking venues, and now is the time to consider purchasing a new bike or getting your current one serviced.
I recently had the pleasure of talking with Eric Smith, owner of Bayside Bikes located in the Key Bank building off Colby Ave. Eric is laid back, nice guy who opened Bayside Bikes in the spring of 2015 when he was just 25 years old.

Eric, an Everett native, chose downtown for his new store because he wanted to bring back the ability for people to shop locally with the hope of revitalizing the area as it once was. He values face to face contact with his customers, and ability to provide better service than big box or on-line shopping companies.
At just 14 years of age Eric, began working at different bike shops. Since that time, he has become an expert in the field of bike sales and mechanics. Along with his knowledge and experience, he brings a passion forged from years of road and trail riding.
Eric makes it a point to take time with his customers to ensure the they are getting the right bike, proper bike fit, and necessary equipment, such as a well fitted helmet and secure lock to make their biking experience more enjoyable. With each bike sold, Bayside offers one year free service and adjustments, something most larger companies and on-line purchases can't or won't provide.
