Trinity Episcopal Church and Pacific MusicWorks Underground are teaming up to present Bach’s Coffeehouse, a new fun and informal concert series that blends Baroque music by Bach, Vivaldi, and their contemporaries with beer, wine, and mead tastings and innovative multimedia program notes (think VH-1’s Pop-Up Videos for classical music…) It’s a great night out for both first-time concertgoers and experienced music lovers looking for a fun, new, social experience.
The combination of two violins, viola, and ‘cello has been one of Classical music’s most popular and enduring ensembles, and has inspired composers for over four centuries. The dynamic San Francisco-based period instrument group The Sylvestris Quartet blends wit and insight as they explore the development of the quartet from Biber to Beethoven and beyond.
Admission is $25 (only $20 over 65 and under 30), under 18 free. Tickets available at the door. Trinity Episcopal Church is handicapped-accessible.
