5 Things We're Psyched On – Fisherman's Village Music Festival

Good news music fans – our buds at Everett Music Initiative are bringing back Fisherman's Village Music Fest for 2017.

Here are 5 things to know and get psyched on.

1. This year's dates are March 31st - April 2nd. We asked about the date switch (it used to be mid May) and it's because Upstream (Paul Allen's passion project/music fest) and Sasquatch are both going down in May. The good news is that it'll be here sooner.

2. The fest will be 100% indoors this year. No more outdoor stage is kind of a bummer, but not as big of a bummer as getting rained on all day. You don't want to end up looking like this guy.

3. Tickets are on sale now for $25. This is so freaking cheap for 50+ bands and a weekend of music. For context, Sasquatch tickets are like, $300. Get Fisherman's tickets here before the price goes up.

4. There's a lineup announcement party on Feb 10th at the Scuttlebutt Taproom. SISTERS, Tango Alpha Tango and Everett band TELLERS (that I play in). Sorry for the shameless plug. Get tickets here.

5. Everett hotels are CHEAP when compared to most places. If you're coming in from out of town (or have friends coming in from out of town), get a room and stay all weekend and get to know Everett. There's plenty of places stay, probably for less than $100 a night. Here's a good list.

Rumor has it that EMI has a bunch of other things up their sleeve for 2017. We're looking forward to another good year of music in Everett.

Rock on,
T-Chiz

Besides sailing the S.S. Live in Everett, Tyler and company own a small creative company called Milltown Creative. He plays guitar in the band TELLERS, loves watching the Everett music scene grow (it's a real thing), and also likes selling real estate.
