Music at the Marina Returns with Free Waterfront Concert Series

Editor’s note: Originally published May 31, 2022. But don’t worry- dates, bands, and food trucks have all been updated for the 2023 season.

Thanks to the return of Music at the Marina, Thursdays in Everett are about to get a pinch more epic.

I recently caught up with Everett Music Initiative’s Ryan Crowther about the upcoming concert series, who excitedly shared, “this is going to be the biggest and best year yet!”

Every Thursday from July 13 to August 31 this Summer, you’ll find food trucks such as Sugar & Spoon, Ryan’s Rezipes, Alaska Weathervane Scallops, Sushi Burrito, and Tacos Penachos at the foot of the Grand Avenue Park Bridge, AKA: Port Gardner Landing.

Oh yeah- and there’ll be music, too!

Come boogie to the Little Lies, Clinton Fearon, Queen Mother, Lady A, and more. And when I say come boogie- I mean it! I’ve probably seen more people dancing at these concerts than any other in Everett, which makes the energy of the space that much more fun.

It’s a magical feeling, really. Seeing the community come together on these fun-filled nights while yachters line the water and people set up folding chairs along the promenade, with more heads bobbing above from both the footbridge and Grand Avenue Park. All happening along the beautiful Everett waterfront while the sun slowly sets amid the fresh seaside air.

Music at the Marina is free and open to all ages.

To get a taste of all the different bands that will be playing on Thursdays, you can check out the Music at the Marina website here.
