Beyond the expected array of freshly baked goods like croissants, cookies, and muffins, South Fork surprises with a variety of vegan options, from in-house-made patties to take-away soup. During a weekday visit with my wife and daughter, the staff’s kindness towards my child left a positive impression. The cappuccino was flawlessly dry, though regrettably, the vegan bagel shared a similar dry fate. Yet, I applaud the bakery for crafting a fresh vegan patty rather than relying on the frozen textured vegetable protein soy puck. Kudos on that front.
My daughter enthusiastically described the chocolate muffin with chocolate chips as a delightful, "yummy" melt-in-your-mouth experience. Perfect!
