Color and Spice: 5 Reasons to Visit The El Paraiso Cantina
Somehow I always forget this place. Then when I rediscover it I'm like "oh yeah! I love this spot!"
It's the bright little cantina inside of the El Paraiso restaraunt on Colby in downtown Everett.
Why visit the El Paraiso cantina? Here's an idea:
Here's what I like.
1. MOOD
The place is filled with bright colors, neon signs, big TVs, and glass shelves full of alcohol (and, yes, Fireball on tap).
They have Silvertips gear on the walls and are usually showing sports on the big screens.
Share a booth with a loved one or a pal.
2. SERVICE
I've always had good service, and often get a fresh tortilla when I visit (they make them on site in the evenings).
On a drizzly Everett night the cantina is a the perfect place to escape for a Negro Modelo with lime and a couple fish tacos. Or a big margarita with salt on the rim of the glass.
3. HAPPY HOUR
The cantina has happy hour 7 days a week from 3:00 - 6:00 and from 9:00 - close (side note, if you're into happy hour, make sure you check out our Everett Happy Hour Guide).
4. CRAZY MONDAYS
On Mondays, AKA "Crazy Mondays," they do 99 cent beef and chicken tacos and 99 cent 12 oz. cups of Coors Light.
Can't beat that deal.
5. LOCATION
El Paraiso is centrally located in downtown Everett, at the intersection of California and Colby Avenue. It's a great place to stop by before any event. The prefunk. The snack stop.
I recommend you check out the cantina sometime.
Perfect for when you need a splash of color and spice on a winter night.
