How did you first get started in your craft?
I have dabbled with writing for years and finally was given the push by a fellow author and self-published my first science fiction novel, Lock in 2016. Since then I have published two more in the series, Fury and Return, with the fourth Vengeance coming soon! I published my first book of Poetry, American Angst, recently stepping into my first experience outside of Science Fiction.

Terry Brooks, Anne Rice, Stephen King, Edgar Allen Poe, Samuel Delany and Alastair Reynolds
Favorite Piece You've Created?
That is a tough one. I really enjoyed writing American Angst and think it more closely reflects who I am and my thoughts. I would have to say Fury was the most fun to write and I still enjoy a good reread of it!

What’s the most challenging part of being an artist, or something you had to overcome?
Making the time for your art and creativity. In the hustle and bustle of our current day, it often gets lost. I have to set aside the time and make sure I communicate it clearly so I can continue to improve myself and my craft!
How can people be supportive of the arts?
For authors, in particular, buy their books of course! It does not stop there however. Reviews are critical to the success of a novel or work, so when you buy that book on Amazon make sure you go back and give it a good review!!!

What's next for you?
I am in the midst of finishing Vengeance which will be the final book in the Quantum Wars series. After that I have several projects planned including another book of poetry, a fantasy series and a horror novel! It is going to be a busy 2019!!!
